●  Fundraising: 

1.  Discount Cards:  JV/VARSITY Athletes were given 25 discount cards to sell ($10/card= $250).  Proceeds are used to purchase summer practice clothes, camp lunches, pre-game night buffet dinners, Sat morning breakfasts, game socks for all players, pink out gear for players, senior field banners, senior players banquet dinner tickets, senior gifts, misc. field equipment (cameras, iPads), washing out of water lines for clean drinking water on lower practice field, Gatorade for consumption during games, and other extras (fruit, granola bars & trail mix for bus snacks for away games).

·  JV/VARSITY athletes- First 12 cards must be sold by June 10th $120, balance of 13 cards due by July 1st $130.

·  Freshman athletes – Sell 20 cards; begin sales after graduation, due date July 31st. Frosh sell 5 less cards as they are not required to have summer practice clothes.


2.  Car WashSaturday, June 22nd, rain date Saturday, June 29th, @ Lakeland High School 8am-12pm, all Juniors and Seniors, attendance is mandatory.


3.  Canning: Saturday, June 22nd, rain date Saturday, June 29th, @ Quick Chek and Goldberg’s Bagels 7am-11am, all Frosh and Soph, attendance is mandatory, hoping 1 hour each.

4.  Football Mania: All grades- mandatory sale of 5 cards @ $25/ea. Cards are handed out beginning of August, $125 due by 8/26. Weekly chances to win based off NFL games- runs 17 weeks – guaranteed winner every week, plus grand prize winner at end of season won $600 last year!

What we provide to the athletes:

1.  August camp lunches - double sessions of practice from 8-3. Usually 5/6 days- Soph-seniors. 5qtr provides daily lunches served buffet style in cafeteria. Sandwiches, pizza day, chicken day, pickles, pb&j, fluff, fruit & drinks. Coordinated by 5qtr with 5 moms to pickup food, supplies, setup, serve & cleanup. Frosh join in 1 day of lunches.

  1. Pre-game dinners - Soph-Seniors-Cheer & Football- held Thursday nights on the weeks of home games. Buffet dinner by Il Palazzo, in the cafeteria after practice around 5pm. 5th qtr orders & pays for dinners to be delivered. Sign up genius email sent out to parents to donate water & desserts (drop off after school day of) and volunteer to serve food & cleanup. Frosh invited to attend 1 dinner.
  2. Saturday morning breakfast- Soph-seniors. 5qtr coordinates ordering & pickup bagels/egg sandwiches & OJ. Held every week 9am- 5qtr sets up table in hallway – kids grab food & head into classroom to eat while watching film from Friday night game. Usually 1 hour for setup, serve & cleanup.
  3. Senior banners - photographer emails photos from picture day - 5qtr club designs and purchases photo banners to be displayed on fence at each home game. Includes senior athletes of football, cheer & band.
  4. Sponsor banner - 5th qtr designs & purchases based on individual sponsors to be displayed on fence at each home game.
  5. Friday night games - Gatorade for consumption for all games, snack stand, and other extras (fruit, granola bars & trail mix for bus snacks for away games).
  6. Pink out game for breast cancer awareness- October home game - cheer hosts clinic for youth K-8 girls to cheer on field. Pink lines painted on field. 5qtr purchases special “pink” for boys determined by coaches (2018 pink socks for athletes).
  7. Homecoming/Senior night- last Friday night home game of season. Ceremony before game for all senior families, including cheer & band. Table setup on field with coffee & refreshments; coffee provided by 5qtr. Cheer & band provides refreshments (cake). 5qtr purchases balloons & decorates. Yost provides flowers for moms. Eddie photographs each player with family as they walk on field when name announced.
  8. End of year awards banquet- all grades-held beginning of December on Monday night at Portobello’s. Senior players attend for free, paid for by 5qtr. Underclassmen and families purchase tickets. 5thqtr purchases - for senior players -gift (embroidered windbreaker & framed family photo from senior night game). Coaches hand out Varsity letters, certificates, awards, speeches. Slideshow of player pics. Pictures from Uncle Eddie for pickup.
  9. Uncle Eddie - volunteer team photographer; travels to home & away games. Edits & prints photos from each game. Prints copies weekly given to coaches, and emails digital photos via drop box.

●  Individual player sponsorships – Optional but highly recommended! Runs from May until July 1. Each player can solicit business/individual for check/cash donations to be credited to their own account. Once funds are deposited, player can request transfer of funds to pay/reimburse for Parisi, player packs, special equipment (helmet), end of year awards dinner tickets, apparel. Reimbursement/transfer forms can be found online. All reimbursement forms should be submitted to Elise Gamarello.
○  Any funds not utilized by a player this season will be carried over to the following season. Any funds remaining in a graduating senior’s account can be transferred to an underclassman or to our scholarship fund. NOTE:  sponsor money cannot be applied to fundraising (sale of discount cards, charity mania tickets, etc.)
●  Parisi speed school – strongly encouraged- all grades-training setup by coaches, paid for by parents, parents must register player & pay online directly to speed school. Runs end of June thru July. Once a week running & conditioning by professional trainers. Cost was $145 during 2018 season.
●  Player Pack:  This is an optional purchase! Player pack payment and sizes are due no later than August 1.  Packs can only be ordered as a set.  Individual items cannot be purchased.  Orders received 1st week August. 5qtr coordinates sizing orders & distribution to players. Cost is $150 for 2019 season.
●  Annual custom lawn signs - profits go toward ice cream social.
●  Custom apparel online sales, local business. Opportunity for parents to custom order & bling designs.
●  Game day books - 5qtr solicit businesses & families for team sponsors. Goal is to pay for the cost of the book. Boosters from fans, inclusive of cheer & band. Put together in August, sold at the 1st home game. Full page ads purchased by local businesses- design large poster to be displayed at business.
●  Picture day - August- all grades. Individual & team pictures. Coaches hand out forms to athletes. Checks are due at time of pictures. 5qtr member takes special senior & coach pics for game day book.
●  Game day T-shirts- Student Rumble club decide on theme of game & coordinate designing game day T-shirt. 5th qtr purchases shirts for sale $10. Students sell shirts during school week of game & leftovers sold Friday night.
●  Spirit wear sales - table at each home game, sold by frosh/soph parents.
●  Wanaque Day – booth sales during this annual event!
